About Nockie's Palette:

Nockie’s Palette wine series was conceived as an idea where “art meets wine”. The artist and artisan combine talents to produce something extraordinary. Nockie’s Palette believes it is the artist or artisan who contributes the most value in the production of something truly great.

Thus, we seek out winemakers who are considered among the world’s best in a range of different grape varieties. In August 2017, Nockie’s palette expanded upon its original vision by purchasing Georgetown Vineyard, where the award-winning Pinot Noir and Pinot Rosé grapes were harvested, in Central Otago, New Zealand.

The Georgetown Vineyard is situated at the Cromwell end of the Kawarau Gorge and sits on the site of the historic Georgetown. Georgetown's Pinot Noir has an international reputation as one of the finest red grape varieties. The traditional Red Burgundies have been joined by other outstanding examples from the USA and New Zealand in particular. However, the grape is also responsible for making delicious fresh and vibrant Pinot Rosé that provide the drinker with aromas of red berries, apples & peaches. The wines tend to be a bright pink when the colour is pronounced, more so than Rosés made from other varieties, and make for striking wines perfect for warm summer afternoons. Find out more >
