About the Event

Join us for our Winemakers Dinner hosted jointly by Quartz Reef Wines and Domaine Rewa Wines. Indulge in a flavour filled evening with Wakatipu Grill’s three-course menu, with each course delectably matched with wines from both vineyards. Our fun table-sharing concept lets you meet and mingle with locals and hotel guests alike - all while sipping on a delicious range of Quartz Reef and Domaine Rewa wines.

Winemakers Dinner Menu

Canape 

Parmesan cheese basket, prosciutto crudo, fig compote and rocket sprouts

Entree 

Grilled prawns, sage, lemon, crustacean butter served with homemade ciabatta

Curried pumpkin broth and lamb agnolotti

Main

Duck breast, baby beets, walnut, cherry sauce

Veal osso bucco crepinette, sautéed mushroom, creamy polenta and lemon gremolata

Sides Bok choi with crispy garlic, and pearl barley, butter squash and feta salad

Dessert 

Warm granny smith apple tart with lemon sorbet

About Domaine Rewa Wines

Domaine Rewa is a small 5.5 hectare vineyard located on the fluvial terraces nestled in the foothills of the Pisa Range. Although the property was planted in 1997, 2001 was Domaine Rewas first vintage. Wanting to make the most of this special plot of land Philippa Fourbet works with Grant Rolston, Gary Ford and winemaker Pete Bartle.
